Following a successful career in teaching and school principalships, Chris has continued driving school improvement through top level roles in the UK and internationally, not least as the statutory Director of Education and Community of an English local authority.
Previously, Chris served as a Senior Adviser in Northamptonshire and Head of Standards and Effectiveness in a London borough. After leading many Ofsted inspections of primary and secondary schools and undertaking quality-assurance of Ofsted reports, he became the Executive Director for School Review in Bahrain’s Quality Assurance Authority, and Senior Education Advisor within the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau. He has led significant school improvement projects in Asia, the USA and Africa.
Chris brings to GES World a strategic overview of educational organization. He is highly effective when dealing with matters relating to school and organizational leadership. His work has been published in many countries, including the authoritative ‘Privatization of State Education’ published by Routledge.
Christopher Green
Following an early career in schools in the UK and USA, Chris worked as a teacher, head of department and principal. He joined local authorities where he served as a senior inspector, lead inspector for Ofsted, school advisor, and was assistant director of education and Head of Standards and Effectiveness Services. Chris’s career has taken him to improve education in Europe, Asia, USA and Africa. He has led school reviews, been involved in school improvement projects, and set up schools. He was Executive Director in the Quality Assurance Authority, Bahrain, andwas Education Advisor within the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau.

Bogusia Matusiak Varley
Dr Bogusia is an international inspector. She has worked with many schools offering different curricula around the world; in the UK and overseas; Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Mombasa. She uses her analytical, evaluative and communicative skills to bring about improvement at all levels. Dr Bogusia’s clients come from public and private sectors. in which her reputation as an international trainer and coach of organisation and self-improvement, puts her at the forefront of international consultancy. Her doctorial research “the alchemical model of leadership” and her scenario-based coaching has gained accolades from the corporate community.

Steven’s career has extended across the whole of the school age range from primary to post-16, holding management positions in schools in UK and overseas. For Ofsted, he inspected in both primary and secondary phases. As the Director of the PGCE course for mature students at Liverpool Hope University, Steven worked closely with schools in the planning and training of future teachers.
In 2007, Steven was appointed to the Abu Dhabi Schools Monitoring Agency and was responsible for evaluating the impact, on government schools, of the work of international organisations in delivering the programme of educational reforms. Later, as the Director of Quality Assurance for the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau, he set up systems to ensure the integrity of school inspections and led the development of the UAE School Inspection Framework. Throughout this time, he trained and coached both full-time and associate colleagues in inspection skills. He was also called upon to advise the World Bank during a school improvement project in Kuwait.
Steven brings to GES World the rigour of internal quality assurance and takes responsibility for client care and relationships. He retains a passion for school improvement. His wide range of experience of government and international schools across the age phases makes him highly versatile when working with schools.

Mike Gaunt is an experienced education consultant and school inspector who has substantial experience of working both in the UK and internationally.
An all-through school specialist, his areas of expertise include school evaluation and whole school improvement. Recent work with GES World has included targeted professional development for senior teachers and verification of their improvement impact on students’ outcomes.
With experience as a headteacher and deputy headteacher, since 2014 Mike has worked as an education consultant for several clients. His work has included Ofsted school inspections in the UK and over 150 school reviews in the UAE, with ADEK, SPEA, MoE and KHDA, in both team and lead inspector capacity. Additionally, he was a key member of the School Advancement Programme with KHDA, as it worked to raise standards in schools that were judged acceptable or below.
